Commentary
I love this picture I took of the patterns cast by the October 14, 2023 annular eclipse. The reason I love it is that despite the fact that *I took the photo,* it surprises me every time I look at it. First, I see the crescent shapes. THEN, I see my own shadow. Something has to shift in my perspective each and every time.
